Me and my stepdad were experimenting with an old ram stick DDR3 2 gig, i can't remember the speed. This was laptop ram btw we decided to try the stick with my 4Gig DDR3 and to my suprise it worked!! So we then went to best buy for more ram. Over there they only had PNY sadly but i didnt care we bought it and put it in to have a total of 12 gigs of ram one 4 gig stick and 8 gig.
